I am officially 37 weeks pregnant - yippee! Hard to believe that I am now "full term." As my doctor said on Tuesday, things could start happening any time!
With all that being said... nothing is happening! I am not dilating at all and my doctor said she expected to see me next week at my appointment. Our appointment was slightly more exciting this week because we got to have an unexpected ultrasound. My doc couldn't feel baby girl's head (and she had the previous week), so she wanted to make sure that she hadn't flipped around. Luckily, her head was still down, which makes me happy.
I was sort of expecting this ultrasound to be like the ones you see on TV and in the movies - very clear and detailed. Instead, it was very hard to see because she is so scrunched in there! She refused to turn her head to look at us, but we did see her little hands, legs, belly, and much more. She had a nice strong heartbeat and was practicing her breathing, which is the doctor says is a great sign. She was about 6 pounds... they think she will be around 7.5 at birth. I just cannot wait to see her!
I also am getting a bit tired of my yucky end of pregnancy symptoms. I can only wear Uggs because my feet/ankles have gotten HUGE. I have terrible indigestion and have trouble sleeping. When I do sleep, I snore terribly and kick poor Husband out of the bed! He said he could hear me snoring 2 rooms over last night...
Any advice on making it through these last few weeks? I'm trying to work until December 16 (unless she comes early)... some days, that seems far away and on other days, it seems like it's sneaking up on me. It's very strange to try to live normally while also knowing that this big event could occur anytime! EEK! So exciting :)

I am so excited for you. The last few weeks waiting are the hardest! Take time for YOU because you won't have any you-time after the baby arrives for a long time (like 18 years LOL). I'm looking forward to photos and updates on your blog when she's here! Good luck to you -- hope all goes well! Will be watching the blog for updates.
