One week from tomorrow, we will have our big ultrasound. We will get to see our baby and find out if the brain, heart, spine, and other things are healthy and working. We also get to find out if we are having a boy or girl! Health is obviously the first concern, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't crazy excited to find out if we will have a daughter or a son.
I continue to pray for the health of this baby. I have no reason to think something is wrong, but I always worry. I just try to remember that these things are out of my hands! That helps calm the anxiety a bit.
I've had two dreams about the baby - in one dream, I had a little girl that I was holding and putting in her crib. In my other dream, I was at my ultrasound and my doctor said "It's a boy!" My intuition from the beginning has been boy. I have no idea why, it's just my feeling. Husband thinks it's a little girl. We just keep saying someone will be right! And of course, we will be thrilled no matter what the answer. I am just excited to buy something gender specific once we know.
Did you all find out the sex of your baby or did you wait until the baby was born? If you don't mind sharing, I love hearing different experiences. Hope that you all had a great weekend!

I am so excited for you Julie! What an amazing time in your life this is right now! I definitely found out what I was having with each one of my four boys. I have never really liked surprises and could not have waited until they were born to find out! Please do post once you have your ultrasound...can't wait to hear whether you're having a boy or girl! :)
How exciting! I know you can't wait till next week. We elected not to be told either time. Ended up with two boys and there's just something special about hearing "It's a boy" (or girl or both or whatever LOL).
