Wow, I am so excited!! Now that my current apartment is sublet (subleased? whatever...) and my name is coming off of the lease as of March 4, I can be totally excited about the new place. While the actual moving part is not that exciting (let's just say that I will get plenty of cardio and strength straining without the gym this week!), it is so fun to organize and get settled. It always almost feels like playing house!
My weekend was good, but busy. I did my federal, state, and local taxes BY MYSELF for the first time ever... I feel pretty good about that! I did a lot of window shopping for the new apartment and picked up a new shower curtain (see pic above). I didn't get any dissertation work done, but I am suspending any thoughts of judging myself on that since I am moving this week and that's a little more imminent at the moment.

Good luck with moving. I hope to see pics when you're settled. I checked on the Hosta and cats. The ASPCA has a pretty comprehensive listing of plants and as you can see (http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_apcc_toxicplants) it's not on it. :-)
Chives are also great for a shady location and as they are edible for humans I wouldn't see why they'd be kitty-toxic.
